Light Weight Steel Modular Building System

Enscape_2025-11-26-15-28-42_场景号4.png

SBH’s lightweight steel modular system is designed for low and multi story buildings, reducing steel usage by 13% compared to traditional modular construction while maintaining strength and efficiency. With 85% of production completed in factory, on site labor requirements are halved, and the assembly cycle is only one third of traditional construction timelines. This system significantly boosts construction speed and reduces costs, making it the ideal choice for multi story building projects.

Preliminary Specs of Modules

Module Width : 2.4m

Module Length : 12m (Max)

Module Height : 3.2m (Max)

To ensure transportation convenience, SBH’s building modules are meticulously designed to meet standard container flatbed shipping specifications, with precise size restrictions. This approach enhances transportation efficiency, reduces logistics costs, and provides flexibility and reliability for global project deliveries.

Solution for Long Span request

To maximize interior clear height while ensuring compatibility with sea and land transportation, SBH meticulously designs every component of our building modules. In scenarios requiring large spans with constrained beam heights, we employ shim plate components to connect the module’s base and top frame beams, effectively increasing beam height. This approach meets high span-to-depth ratio requirements while enhancing the beam’s load-bearing capacity, ensuring structural stability and optimized space.

Light Weight Design

The key to lightweight design lies in the rational use of I Beams and C Channels as load-bearing components. Meanwhile, the floor slabs adopt high-strength TD metal plates and sound-insulating damping plates instead of heavy precast concrete components.
